About John Gallardo

Creative work has always been my way of understanding the world.

I’m John Gallardo — a songwriter, artist, designer, and creative based in Charlottesville, Virginia. My work is rooted in music, visual storytelling, imagination, and a belief that the things we create can have a life beyond ourselves.

I write songs from personal experience, observation, memory, and the strange beauty of everyday life. Music is at the center of what I do, but it is only one part of a larger creative vision — one that brings together art, design, storytelling, fashion, and the ideas that inspire me.

Charlottesville has become an important part of that journey. There is something about creating a life here — surrounded by history, nature, community, and a slower sense of time — that has given me space to think differently about what I want to build.

At the center of that vision is Family Earth Foundation, a future charitable initiative inspired by the belief that creativity should ultimately contribute to something larger than the individual.

A portion of the proceeds from my creative work and merchandise will be dedicated to Family Earth Foundation, helping turn the success of what I create into an opportunity to give back. My goal isn't simply to make things people enjoy or want to own. It's to build something meaningful over time — a creative life that can support people, communities, and the world we share.
